What is PERA CET?Preeminent Education and Research Association or PERA is a federation of the state private universities of Maharashtra, set up with the aim to promote quality education in streams such as Engineering, Management, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Teaching and Fine Arts. The association conducts a multi-stream entrance exam, PERA CET, for students interested in pursuing undergraduate and post graduation from Maharashtra institutes associated with PERA.

Eligibility criteria for UG courses
- Class 12 pass or equivalent in relevant stream from a recognised board or university
- Students in Class 12 or awaiting board result are also eligible to apply for PERA CET
Eligibility criteria for PG courses
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognised university
- Final year graduation students or those awaiting final result are also eligible to apply

- The UG course question paper is designed based on respective Class 12 syllabus and the PG course question paper is designed based on respective degree level syllabus
