PAT - Praxis Admission Test

PAT 2022 application process is available for the July admission session. Candidates can register now for PAT exam by visiting the official website. PAT is being conducted for admission to PGP Data Science course. Candidates who have valid GMAT, GRE, or XAT scores are exempted to appear on the aptitude test. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 26 in remote proctored mode. Candidates passing the aptitude test will qualify for the essay writing and personal interview. PAT or Praxis Admission Test is a national level entrance examination conducted for PGP Data Science admission at Praxis Business School. The Kolkata campus of Praxis Business School offers a nine month Post Graduate Programme in Data Science. Candidates aspiring to pursue PGP programmes at the Praxis Business School can appear for PAT or other national level entrance tests. Admission to AICTE approved courses such as PGDM at Praxis Business School is based on scores of national level entrance tests such as  CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE/CMAT/MAT. PAT question paper is designed to have multiple-choice questions from five sections, namely Data Analysis, Numerical Ability, Critical Thinking, Verbal Ability and Reasoning Ability. Candidates need to solve 120 questions within a time duration of 120 minutes. 1. Candidates should have a bachelor's or a master's degree in any stream from a recognised University or equivalent.
2. Final year graduation students can also apply provided they submit requisite documents such as passing certificate or mark-sheet of the final year examination within the stipulated date.
3. Candidates with CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE/CMAT/MAT can also apply. Best of the scores will be considered for admission

The admission process through PAT 2022 consists of an entrance test, essay writing, psychometric test and personal interview. Candidates are selected on the basis of their overall performance in the entrance tests and final selection rounds, academic record and work experience.

PAT 2022 application form is available online on the official website (praxis.ac.in). Praxis Business School aspirants will have to fill the online application form for PAT 2022 and submit the requisite fee to be able to take PAT 2022. The application fee of INR 1,500 will have to be paid via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking methods.

Admit cards are issued to each candidate for PAT 2022 online. The PAT 2022 admit card is a mandatory document to be furnished at the time of taking the test in online proctored mode from the candidates' home. It will consist of candidates' photographs and instructions for taking the test. Candidates need to preserve their admit cards till the end of the admission process.

The exam was held in an online mode for a duration of three hours. As per the PAT 2022 exam pattern, there are as many as 120 questions from five sections. Candidates have to solve questions on Data Analysis, Numerical Ability, Critical Thinking, Verbal Ability and Reasoning Ability.

PAT 2022 result is expected to be declared two days after the exam. The scorecard can be accessed online on the official website. Candidates will be required to use their login credentials to check their scores. They will also be notified about their shortlist status.

Candidates who would secure the qualifying score of PAT 2022 will be invited for the final round of the admission process which includes, essay writing, psychometric test and interview. Admission will be offered only to those who shall have succeeded in all the rounds.

PAT 2022 will be conducted in the online proctored mode wherein candidates will be able to take the test from their homes. The change in the mode of the test was done in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will be continued for 2022 as well.
