What is PUMDET?The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts PUMDET to shortlist aspirants for admission in MA and MSc programmes offered at Presidency University, Kolkata. Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) comprises separate entrance tests for admission in science and humanities courses. When applying for admission through PUMDET, candidates can apply for a maximum of two subjects. For the 2022 academic session, official dates for PUMDET will be announced soon by WBJEEB. The PUMDET 2022 application forms and online registration is expected to start from April onwards and the entrance exam is expected to be conducted in the month of June.

Candidates need to have a valid working mobile number and email ID as the board will provide candidates with the latest updates and notifications. Candidates are advised to double-check the details before pressing the submit button. All details must match the school credentials.
Step 2: PUMDET Application Form
PUMDET application forms need to be filled by candidates online on the official website of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). PUMDET application fee can be paid online by means of Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card. The offline application fee can be paid through cash using Allahabad Bank e-challan.
Step 3: PUMDET Admit Card
PUMDET admit card will be available for download from the official website PUBDET on a specified date. The hall ticket for PUMDET is a mandatory document and candidates need to positively carry a hard copy of the same with them on the day of the exam to their allotted test centre.
Step 4: PUMDET Exam
Candidates need to appear for Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) as per the schedule and exam centre mentioned on their PUMDET admit card. The duration of PUMET exam is 90 minutes.
Step 5: PUMDET Result
PUMDET result is declared on the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). Candidates are informed that the result for Presidency University Master Degree Entrance Test (PUMDET) is declared in the form of Rank Cards.
Step 6: PUMDET Counselling
The counselling and admission process is conducted on the basis of PUMDET merit and candidates will be allowed to appear for the counselling round only as per the date and time mentioned for their rank.

The allocation of the PUBDET exam centres will be based on the choices given by the candidates while filling up the application form. A. PUBDET is a Bachelor's degree test and through PUBDET, students get admission to BA and BSc (UG) courses offered at Presidency University. PUMDET is a Master's degree test and through PUMDET, students get admission to MA and MSc (PG) courses offered at the university.Q.
