What is PUCAT?The Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT) is conducted by the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in order to offer students admission in various postgraduate courses. The exam is conducted annually and it is through qualifying PUCAT, that candidates are granted admission to the varsity. Through PUCAT, candidates can get admission in MBA, MA and MSc courses. The mode of the exam is offline and the medium of the entrance exam is English.
Note: However, for the 2020-21 academic year, the PUCAT exam was scrapped and admission to the courses offered was done on the basis of merit.

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps on the admission process through PUCAT 2022.
Fill and Submit PUCAT Application Form: The PUCAT application forms will be available on the official website of the VBS Purvanchal University. Candidates can only fill and submit the application form through online mode only. Candidates are required to fill and submit the application and pay the application fee in order to complete the application process.

Admit Card: Candidates who have successfully applied can download their admit card once released online on the official website of the university. The admit card is an important document which needs to be carried to the exam centre which will be mentioned on the hall ticket. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.

PUCAT 2022 Exam: The PUCAT 2022 exam will be conducted on offline mode in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) format. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre on time. Latecomers will not be allowed to sit for the entrance test.

PUCAT 2022 Result: The result will be released for all programmes and courses on the official website of the university. The result will contain the ranks for the candidates based on their marks secured in PUCAT 2022.

Counselling: Once the results have been released, candidates who make the merit list, will be invited to complete the admission process at the campus in person. Students have to bring their original documents along with their photocopies.

PUCAT Exam: New dates for PUCAT 2022 exam will be notified soon by the Purvanchal University. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre well on time. Students who reach the centre late will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.
PUCAT Results: The PUCAT results will be released online on the official website of the university. The results will be released in the form of a merit list. Candidates will be judged on the basis of rank secured.
