RPET has been replaced by REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process).
RPET discontinued from 2015.The Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan used to conduct Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) to offer admissions to interested candidates in undergraduate degree programmes.
Sources reveal that admissions into engineering colleges in the state of Rajasthan from this academic year onwards will be done through a normalisation process which will be based on marks obtained by candidates in JEE Main as well as in their Class XII.

A state level entrance examination, RPET was a means through which candidates were offered admissions in UG degree programmes at Government aided and Private unaided technical institutes in Rajasthan. A point to note here is that through RPET exam candidates could not get admission at educational institutes such as MNIT Jaipur, BITS Pilani and other Deemed Private Universities.
RPET exam was usually conducted in the month of May each year and the online registration for the exam used to commence in the month of March.
