RUPGCET - Rayalaseema University Postgraduate Common Entrance Test

The Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, conducts the Rayalaseema University Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (RUPGCET) in order to offer students admission in its postgraduate (PG) courses which are offered at the varsity. Rayalaseema University offers PG courses to students in the streams of Science, Commerce, Humanities, and Teaching. RUPGCET is conducted in offline mode I.e pen and paper test. The total number of marks is 100 and the paper will be asked in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Before applying online, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria as set by the university. The RUPGCET 2021 admission process has not started yet. The official dates for RUPGCET will be announced soon.

Candidates who are applying for a course for admission, need to meet the eligibility criteria as set by the Rayalaseema University. All candidates who have passed their qualifying exam with at least 40% marks in the subject concerned fulfil RUPGCET 2021 eligibility criteria for Science course admissions. However, candidates applying for MSc Data Science course must score at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates) in group subjects, informs the official website.

Also, only a pass is sufficient for SC/ST candidates applying for admission to a Science course (except MSc Data Science), states the official website.

RUPGCET 2021 Important Dates

Candidates need to follow the below mentioned RUPGCET 2021 admission process which is a step by step procedure.

Step 1: Fill RUPGCET Application Form

For RUPGCET 2021 registrations, candidates need to fill the application form in the online mode on the official website of the exam. Candidates also need to pay the application fee via online mode (debit card/ credit card/ net banking).

Step 2: Download RUPGCET Admit Card

After RUPGCET application form is successfully submitted, candidates can download their admit card from the official website of the exam and carry the same at the allotted test centre on the day of exam. The admit card is an important document which needs to be carried to the exam centre at any cost.

Step 3: Appear for RUPGCET Exam

Next, candidates need to give RUPGCET exam at the allotted exam centre. The question paper contains 100 objective questions of 100 marks. Candidates need to complete the exam in 1.5 hours duration. Students are advised to reach the exam centre well on time. Latecomers will not be allowed to sit for the entrance exam.

Step 4: Check RUPGCET Result

Candidates can check RUPGCET 2021 result on the official website of the exam by entering their admit card number in the space provided. Candidates should score minimum of 25 marks in order to pass the exam. However, for SC/ST candidates there are no minimum qualifying marks, informs the official website.

Step 5: Download Rank Card

All qualifying candidates can download their rank cards from the official website of the exam. After downloading, candidates need to take a printout of the rank card and retain it for the final round of counselling.

Step 6: Appear for RUPGCET Counselling Session

Finally, all qualifying candidates need to appear for the counselling session along with their rank card and all original documents prescribed by the varsity. In the counselling session, candidates are allotted seats in their respective courses on the basis of merit.

RUPGCET 2021: The Rayalaseema University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (RUPGCET) date has not been announced yet. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre on time and to carry their admit card. Latecomers will not be entertained. 

Results: The results declaration date of RUPGCET 2021 has not been announced yet. The results will be released online on the official website of the University. Candidates will have to login by entering their admit card ID and password to check the results.

Counselling: Once the results have been declared, candidates who have been shortlisted will be called to the university to complete their admission process. Students will have to carry their original documents along with their photocopies.
