RIE CEE 2022 application form released on April 20 on the official website of Regional Institute of Education cee.ncert.gov.in. The last date to apply for RIE CEE 2022 exam is May 4, 2022. After successful registration, aspirants will be able to download the RIE CEE 2022 admit card from July 15 onwards. National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has also released the exam schedule on the official website cee.ncert.gov.in. Candidates are required to submit their qualifying marks before the deadline. The deadline for submitting their qualifying marks for BSc BEd, BA BEd, MScEd is July 20, 2022. And the last date to submit the qualifying marks for BEd, MEd is July 25, 2022. For this academic session, RIE CEE exam will be held on July 24. After the examination, candidates will be able to check and download the results for BSc BEd, BA BEd, MScEd on August 1, 2022 and for BEd and MEd courses results will be declared on August 5, 2022.
Last year, RIE CEE was cancelled by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) due to the coronavirus situation in the country. The admissions were done on the basis of merit list prepared by RIE and NCERT. The calculations were done on the basis of marks of the qualifying examination. After qualifying the exam, candidates can take admission in BSc, B.Ed, BA B.Ed and MSc ED courses.
What is RIE CEE?The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) in order to provide admission to candidates in teaching courses offered at Prarambh and Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) located at Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysore, and Shillong.

Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Statistics (PCM) subjects fulfil RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under Physical Science group. Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects fulfil RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under the Biological Science group. Candidates should have cleared Class XII from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates). Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2019 are also eligible to apply. |

RIE CEE admission process includes the following steps:
Step 1: Fill RIE CEE application form
For RIE CEE 2022 registrations, candidates need to fill the application form in the online mode on the official website of RIE Ajmer. After RIE CEE application form is duly filled, candidates need to take a printout of it and send it to the address mentioned on the form.
RIE CEE application fee: Candidates can pay the application fee both in the online mode (via debit/ credit card) and offline mode [via SBI challan (to be printed online at State Bank Collect)].

Step 2: Download RIE CEE admit card
After the application form is successfully submitted, candidates can download their RIE CEE 2022 admit card from the official website of RIE Ajmer. Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the RIE CEE 2022 exam centre.
Step 3: Appear for RIE CEE exam
Next, candidates need to appear for RIE CEE 2022 at the allotted exam centre. RIE CEE entrance exam contains 80 questions of 160 marks. Candidates need to complete the exam in a duration of two hours.
Step 4: Check RIE CEE result
Candidates can check their RIE CEE 2022 result on the official website of RIE Ajmer. Candidates qualifying the teaching entrance exam will then be eligible to secure admission at NCERT RIE in their respective courses.
Step 5: Appear for RIE CEE counselling
Lastly, candidates need to appear for the RIE CEE 2022 counselling session at their respective RIEs. In the counselling session, candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses on the basis of merit.
