SBPPSE - School of Business, Public Policy & Social Entrepreneurship

School of Business, Public Policy & Social Entrepreneurship (SBPPSE) exam is conducted by Ambedkar University for admission to its 2-year (Full Time) MBA programme. Candidates willing to secure a seat in the University need to clear the entrance test. 

Candidates appearing for the entrance test will be assessed on Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Reading Comprehension and General Awareness. Candidates who clear the entrance test will be further called for Personal Interview round. 

Candidates must note that being called for the Personal Interview does not guarantee admission to the MBA programme offered by the University. The University will prepare a final list of selected candidates taking into account the scores obtained in the written test, and performance in the personal interview. The written test will carry the following weightage. 

SBPPSE exam application process typically commences in the month of November and continues till February. SBPPSE 2019 important dates have not been announced yet. Last year, the application process commenced on November 21, 2017, and continued till February 10, 2018. The entrance test was conducted on February 25, 2018.

The School has signed collaborative agreements with the San Francisco State University (USA), the Northampton University (UK) & the Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca (UBB), Romania for student and faculty exchanges.  

Candidates willing to secure a seat in the MBA programme of the University must ensure that they check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. SBPPSE exam 2019 eligibility criteria is as follows: 

• Candidate must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university
• Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent grade)
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Handicapped categories are given a relaxation of 5% marks
• Candidates in their final year examination of Bachelor/Post Graduate Degree Examinations are also eligible to apply – they should meet the eligibility criteria once the results are declared. Such candidates need to submit the required documents before August 31, 2019 

Reservation of seats 

Step 1: Fill in the Application form

Candidates willing to apply for the exam need to submit the SBPPSE exam 2019 application form. Application forms can be filled either online or offline. Candidates belonging to General category need to pay a fee of Rs 1050, and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PD categories need to pay Rs 525. Candidates can choose to pay the fee by Demand Draft, cash or online. 

Step 2: Appear for SBPPSE exam 2019

Candidates who register successfully need to appear for the exam, the duration of which is 2.5 hours. The exam will commence at 2pm and conclude at 4.30pm. Candidates need to attempt 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on verbal ability and analytical ability. Also, there will be additional 30 MCQs on general awareness.Check SBPPSE exam 2019 pattern.

For the academic session commencing in 2019, SBPPSE exam centre will be AUD campus, Kashmere Gate only. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the reporting time. Candidates who are new to Delhi must check the exam centre at least a day before the date of exam to avoid any last minute hassle. SBPPSE exam 2019 venue details are as follows:

Step 3: Check SBPPSE exam 2019 Result

Once the exam is concluded, the officials will declare the results of the exam. The result of the exam is expected to be declared within a month from the date of examination. 

Step 4: Personal Interview

Candidates who clear the exam will be further called for the Personal Interview round. The interview is likely to be conducted in March, 2019. The final selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of the scores obtained in entrance test and performance in the personal interview round.
