SKUCET - Sri Krishnadevarya University Common Entrance Test

Sri Krishnadevaraya University (SKU) conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admissions to postgraduate courses including, Master of Science (MSc), Master of Commerce (MCom), Master of Education (MEd), Master of Social Work (MSW) and more. On the basis of SKUCET scores, the admissions are offered in Arts, Science, and Commerce departments and affiliated colleges of SKU Anantapur. SKUCET is conducted in a pen-paper mode test inside the university campus only. Candidates need to secure at least 25% out of total scores to qualify for SKUCET, however, no such minimum cut off is applicable for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)  category.

Candidates seeking admission to courses offered through SKUCET must fulfil the eligibility criteria for their respective courses as under:

• For PG degree holders, a minimum of 40% aggregate in the qualifying examination is a must for appearing in the entrance exam. However, they cannot appear for the test for the same field.
• Candidates who wish to apply for M.Ed. admission must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in B.Ed. and 45% aggregate at the postgraduate level.
• Candidates who have cleared the qualifying exam or who are going to appear in the final year examination in 2021 are also eligible to apply.

The admission process through SKUCET 2021 will be as under: 

Step 1: SKUCET 2021 Application 

The candidates seeking admission to SKU will have to apply for the entrance exam in an online mode. The application forms of SKUCET are available at the official website only. Candidates will also be required to pay the application fee Rs 500 for all category. After payment, candidates have to submit the application form in online mode only. No need to send the application forms to SKU official address. 

Step 2: Download admit card for SKUCET 2021 

All the applicants of SKUCET 2021 will be issued admit card mentioning details about them, the exam dates and timings as well as, the test centre details like examination hall number and building. Candidates have to download the admit card from the official website by entering their login credentials. After this, they have to take printouts of the admit card to carry on the exam day. 

Step 3: Appear for the entrance exam 

Candidates have to appear for the entrance exam at SKU campus as per the schedule mentioned on their admit card. They should carry a valid photo ID proof along with the admit card for verification purpose. Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam timings.

Step 4: Declaration of results 

The university will declare the results of SKUCET 2021 in the last week of June on the official website. The rank cards will be available at least 10 days after the result declaration. 

Step 5: Counselling process 

The university will conduct the counselling process of SKUCET 2021 on the basis of the rank list prepared after the declaration of results. Candidates whose name is mentioned in the merit list have to appear for the counselling round as per the schedule. They should carry the required documents such as mark sheets, category certificate, SKUCET hall ticket, copy of SKUCET application form and the admission fee.

As per the university, 85% of the seats in each course will be filled with local candidates of the SVU region, while 15% will be filled with local or non-local candidates on the basis of merit. The reservation criteria for SKUCET 2021 is as under:

Sri Krishnadevarya University (SKU) has not yet announced the application schedule for SKUCET 2021. Once announced, candidates have to apply and submit the application forms before the last date.
