TS EdCET 2022 exam date has been released by the Osmania University. TSEdCET exam is scheduled to be held on July 26, 2022 and July 27, 2022. TSEdCET 2022 application form has been released on the official website of the exam on April 7. Eligible and interested candidates can fill the TSEdCET 2022 registration form till June 15, without late fee. The last date for submission and registration of online application form with late fee of INR 250 is July 1, 2022. Meanwhile, the last date for submission and registration of TSEdCET online application form with late fee of INR 500 is July 15, 2022. After successful registrations, candidates will be able to download the TSEdCET 2022 admit card from July 21 onwards from the official website of the exam. TSEdCET exam will be held in two shifts:
- Forenoon Session: 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM
- Afternoon Session: 03.00 PM to 05.00 PM

To fulfil TSEdCET 2022 eligibility criteria candidates should meet the below-mentioned requirements:
Nationality/locality
- All candidates applying for the TSEdCET exam should be Indian nationals
- All candidates should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as specified in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974
Age limit
- Candidates should be minimum of 19 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which TSEdCET notification is out
- There is no maximum age limit required to appear for the TSEdCET exam
Educational qualification
- All candidates should clear their graduation in BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BBM or post-graduation in relevant subject or five-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other equivalent qualification with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks. For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ BC (A/B/C/D/E)/ PH category minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 40 per cent.
- Candidates securing a minimum of 55% marks in BE/ BTech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply
- Candidates who have cleared MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BL/ LLB/ BA (Languages)/ BOL and any other such professional course are not eligible for BEd admissions via TSEdCET

The admission process through TSEdCET 2022 exam includes the following steps:
- TS EdCET application form: For TSEdCET 2022 registrations, candidates can fill the application form in online mode on the official website of the exam. TSEdCET 2022 application fee of INR 650 also needs to be paid in online mode.
- TS EdCET admit card: Once application forms are filled and submitted successfully, candidates can download their TSEdCET 2022 admit card/ hall ticket from the official website of the exam. Candidates can download the admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth on the TSEdCET website.
- TS EdCET exam: Next, candidates need to appear for the B.Ed entrance exam at the allotted TSEdCET 2022 exam centre. TSEdCET 2022 exam will contain multiple-choice questions of 150 marks that candidates need to complete in a duration of two hours. Check TSEdCET exam pattern.
- TS EdCET result: TSEdCET 2022 result will be declared on the official website of the exam. A candidate scoring at least 25 per cent marks (that is, 38 marks) will qualify for the education common entrance test. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category and women candidates appearing for Physical Sciences/ Mathematics methodology there are no minimum marks required to qualify for the exam, informs the official website.
- TS EdCET rank card: A separate rank list will be prepared for each methodology wherein candidates will be ranked based on marks secured in the exam. Candidates can download their TSEdCET 2022 rank card from the official website of the exam.
- TS EdCET counselling: Lastly, candidates need to appear for a web-based TSEdCET 2022 counselling session. Here, candidates will be allotted seats at the Colleges of Education in Telangana State in their respective methodologies according to their rank.
