DEEET 2021: Higher Education Department, Government of Tripura, has released the details for Tripura Diploma Engineering Entrance Exam (DEEET) 2021. The department has released the DEEET 2021 application form on April 27, 2021. The last date to apply for DEET is July 1, 2021, on the official portal: highereducation.tripura.gov.in.
The exam will be conducted in offline mode. DEET is conducted for admission to 3-year Diploma Engineering courses in different branches under the Higher Education Department of Tripura Government. Students aspiring for the DEET 2021 must fulfill the eligibility conditions before filling the application form. Check the DEEET 2021 eligibility criteria below:
Nativity: Candidates must be permanent resident of Tripura.
Maximum Age Limit: There is no maximum age limit to apply.
Educational Qualifications:
- The applicant must have passed Madhyamik (Class 10) or equivalent exam from TBSE/CBSE or any other equivalent boards.
- Students must have obtained a minimum of 35% aggregate in the Madhyamik or equivalent exam.
- Those who have appeared for Class 10 board exams in 2021 are also eligible provided that they must fulfil all eligibility criteria at the time of document verification and admission.
There are a total of five centres one can choose from. The applicant has to provide two choices in the order of preference.

DEET 2021 result will be released in the form of a merit list. The merit list will consist of the name and roll number of candidates who qualify for the test and are eligible for the counselling process. DEEET Merit list is prepared based on marks obtained by candidates in the entrance test. Candidates who took the test can check the result from deeet.tripura.gov.in or highereducation.tripura.gov.in. There will be no provision for rechecking/re-evaluation of the DEEET 2021 result.
