TUET - Tripura University Entrance Test

The entrance exam conducted by Tripura University is known as TUET. The entrance test is conducted for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in streams including, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Education, and Law. The entrance exam is conducted in a pen-paper based test mode across 12 test centres including Tripura University Campus. 

Candidates seeking admissions to UG and PG courses offered through TUET 2020 must check the eligibility criteria shared by the university as under:

• Eligibility Criteria for UG courses - Candidates should have passed or appeared in the class 12th or equivalent examination in any stream i.e. Arts/ Humanities/ Science/ Commerce. 
• Eligibility Criteria for PG courses - Candidates should have passed or appeared in the final examination of a bachelor degree with relevant subjects. They should have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Category (ST) need to secure at least 45% marks. 

There is no age limit criteria for admissions to any course through TUET exam.

The process of Tripura University admissions 2020 will be as under:

Step1: Fill in the Application form - Candidates have to apply for the entrance exam in online mode at the official website. The entire process of TUET application is in online mode including the fee payment process that candidates can pay using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking. The application fee for TUET 2020 is as under:

Step 2: Download TUET 2020 Admit Card - Candidates who register successfully for the exam will be allotted admit cards at least a week prior to the date of examination. The hall ticket will be uploaded online by the officials, and test-takers can download the same from the University’s official website. 

Step 3: Appear for TUET 2020 - The entrance exam will be conducted for 2 hours, and test-takers will be required to answer 50 questions in the given duration. The paper will consist of multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be assessed on topics like English Language, General Aptitude, Simple mathematical and logic questions. 

Step 4: Declaration of TUET 2020 Result -The result will be declared within a month from the date of examination. Test-takers can check the result online by visiting the official website of Tripura University. At the time of checking the result, candidates must be ready with their roll number. 

Step 5: TUET 2020 Counselling - Once the result is announced, shortlisted candidates are required to be present in person along with the required documents. The documents will be verified by the officials and candidates can take admission on the day of counselling by depositing the requisite amount of fees.
