UPESMET - UPES Management Entrance Test

UPESMET 2022 exam dates have been revised for phase 5. The registrations for phase 5 has begun online. Candidates can now register for phase 5 till June 12, 2022. The upcoming UPESMET exam will be held on June 14, 2022 for phase 5. UPESMET selection process 2022 slot booking will begin online. Candidates will be able to book slots for a personal interview online. The final result for admission will be announced after the interview round. 

UPESMET is a common entrance exam, conducted by UPES, Dehradun for admission to its MBA programmes. UPES offers unique industry-focused graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in key areas such as Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Information Technology, Design, Planning & Architecture, Public Policy, and Legal studies. UPESMET is conducted multiple times a year. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year the exam was conducted only in online proctored mode. This year, too, it is being conducted in online proctored mode.

UPESMET 2022 application form has to be filled out online. Interested candidates can fill the application form for the online entrance exam within the stipulated time, as mentioned in the official notification.

Know the eligibility criteria for UPSEMET 2022 below:

• Candidates should be graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from a recognised University

• Candidates must have passed Class 10th and Class 12th with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate

• Candidates in their final year of qualifying exam are also eligible for UPESMET provided they can present the passing certificate by the time of admissions

•  Candidates who have MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT by GMAC and GMAT scores of either the same or previous year, are exempted from taking the UPESMET exam 

Non-Examination Pathway for PG admission

Admission is offered based on national-level management entrance exams – CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. Up to 50 per cent of the seats are filled through the non-examination pathway category students. The minimum percentile required for entry to the non-exam pathway has been listed below:

• MAT score of minimum 80 percentile
• CMAT 2020/CMAT 2022 score of minimum 80 percentile
• XAT 2022/CAT 2020 score of minimum 75 percentile
• NMAT 2020 score of minimum 140
• GMAT Scores

Minimum cut off for admission through the national level entrance tests

 Note: 30 per cent of the seats are filled through the national level entrance tests. In case such seats are vacant, then UPES will fill those seats through UPESMET.

Reservation of Seats 

• 15 per cent seats in all programmes are reserved for the candidates belonging to the state of Uttarakhand 
•  Such candidates need to provide 'Sthai Niwas Praman Patra' certificate
• However, if these seats remain unfilled in the category then it will be treated as unreserved

Candidates who will register for the UPESMET exam will be sent the confirmation mail on their registered email address or mobile number. UPES Application Form 2022

UPESMET registration for BBA and MBA programmes has to be done online. The application fee is INR 1350 which can be paid through Paytm (credit card/debit card or net banking modes) and PayU wallet.

UPES 2022 exam

UPESMET exam for PG programmes is conducted multiple times a year. The exam is online proctor based, candidates can take the exam from any location. A link to take the exam is sent to the candidate’s registered email ID. They need to click the link to appear in the exam within the prescribed exam dates. 

UPESMET Result 2022

UPES result is announced online within a few days after completion of the test. To check the UPESMET result, candidates need to enter their application number. Based on the scores, candidates are called for Group Discussion/Personal Interview for MBA admission.
