About VOCLET 2021 (Application Form released)

VOCLET 2021 application form has been released by WBSCTE on May 6. The last date to fill and submit VOCLET 2021 application form is June 30. The VOCLET 2021 exam dates will be announced soon. The VOCLET 2021 exam will be held in pen and paper-based mode for two hours.

West Bengal State Council of Technical Education organizes the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training (VOCLET) entrance exam every year. VOCLET 2021 is the state-level entrance exam through which candidates can get admission in second-year diploma courses in Engineering/Technology offered in the state of West Bengal. VOCLET is also known for admissions to admission to diploma courses in engineering/technology/architecture in polytechnics of West Bengal.

Nationality of the candidate: The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Age criteria: There is no age limit. 

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th class examination from any recognized board. Candidates who are appearing in their 10th class are also eligible to apply. Appeared ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET 2021

or

Passed 2 years’ ITI at a stretch after Madhyamik or equivalent examination passed. Appeared ITI candidates are not eligible for VOCLET-2021. ITI trades must be of continuous 2 years duration and the single certificate should mention the duration of the ITI course.orPassed/appeared* 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute.orPassed/appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Mathematics as one of the subject from recognized Board / Council / Institute.orPassed/appeared* 10+2 (Science) with Technical Vocational Subjects from recognized Board / Council / Institute (including CSS for VHSE).

Mode of the examination: VOCLET 2021 will be conducted through offline mode

Medium of the exam: Question paper will be available in English and Bengali languages

Types of question: Multiple-choice questions will be asked in the examination

Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, Computer Science

Total number of questions: A total of 100 questions will be asked in the examination

Duration of the exam: The exam will be conducted for two hours duration

Marking Scheme: For each correct response, one mark will be awarded. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted

Step 1: VOCLET application form 2021

Candidates have to register online on the official website and fill the VOCLET 2021 application form. The application fee is Rs 450 - (Rs. 225/- for valid Kanyashree enrolees) which is to be paid online through debit/credit card or net banking. While filling up the VOCLET application form, candidates can select up to five institutes/colleges to send their scores for admission. Candidates need to select VOCLET 2021 exam centers (usually the test cities) while filling the application form.

STEP 2: VOCLET admit card 2021

VOCLET admit card is released for the registered candidates on its official website. Candidates must download their admit cards and take a printout of the same before the exam, as it is a mandatory document. VOCLET admit cards 2021 will be available online for downloading, until exam day.

STEP 3: VOCLET exam 2021

VOCLET exam will be conducted in pen and paper-based mode. The offline test comprises 100 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates will get two hours to complete the question paper.

Step 4: VOCLET Result 2021

The result of VOCLET will be available on its official website of VOCLET. The result will not be communicated individually to the candidates. The result of VOCLET will be available in the form of the merit list. No separate rank card will be issued to the candidates.
