Berhampur University offers degree, diploma and certificate programmes to aspirants at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and MPhil levels. Programmes offered at Berhampur University are in streams including Science, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Business & Management Studies.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses  

Candidates applying to the UG courses offered by the University should hold a Senior Secondary School Certificate or must have cleared an equivalent examination from a recognised board with minimum 45% marks. Candidates belonging to reserved categories should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying exam. 

Candidates applying to the PG courses offered by the University should hold a Senior Secondary School Certificate or must have cleared an equivalent examination from a recognised board and must have a Bachelor’s degree of three years duration. Also, candidates belonging to General category should have secured a minimum of 40% marks and reserved category candidates should have obtained a minimum of 40% in the qualifying exam. 

Note: Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by Berhampur University for the course in which they wish to secure admission. 

Admission Process 

Berhampur University grants admission to its UG and PG courses on the basis of merit. Exception being admission to MBA, where admission is granted on the basis of the scores obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the University. 

Candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of the merit will be notified by the University. The shortlisted candidates need to be present in person at the University with all the relevant documents and course fee. 

Application Process for All Courses 

Candidates willing to apply to the University need to fill in the application form and pay the registration fee. The application process is completely online.

The fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking. Apart from this, cash can be deposited at any SBI branch or cheque can be drawn on any SBI Branch or University Challan in the SBI Bhanja Bihar Branch. 

The registration fee for MBA is Rs 800 and the registration fee for other courses is Rs 300. 

Along with the application form, candidates need to submit the following documents: 

Admit Card

The university will provide admit cards to candidates appearing for MBA entrance test. Candidates must check that all the particulars printed on the admit cards are corrects. If any discrepancy is found, the same should be reported immediately to the officials. 

Also, candidates must note that the admit card is an important document to be carried to the exam hall. Those not carrying their admit cards will not be allowed entry inside the exam centre. 

Admission Cycle
