What's new at BHU? CUET UG registrations re-opened on May 27 and will remain open till May 31. Also, the UG correction window is open from May 25 to May 31. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has started releasing the BHU UET 2021 cut off along with the counselling schedule from December 7 in online mode. Alongside, the varsity has also started releasing BHU PET 2021 cut off for various PG programmes from December 6 in the form of opening and closing ranks. The cut off of BHU  2021 has been released separately after the entrance exam results on the BHU counselling portal. BHU 2021 cut off specifies the minimum rank that candidates must get in the exam in order to qualify and be considered for admissions to the institution for UG and PG courses. 

BHU Cut off 2021: Minimum Qualifying Score

BHU has a fixed qualifying cutoff for both UET and PET. Each of the applicants needs to score more than the minimum cutoff criteria to qualify the respective entrance exams. Only those candidates are considered for final cutoff and counselling procedures who successfully abide by the below-mentioned qualifying cutoff criteria:

BHU Cut off 2021: Final BHU UET Cutoff and BHU PET Cutoff Rank

BHU UET and PET cutoffs comprise opening and closing ranks between which admission to a course for a category is offered. Candidates can check the respective exam's cutoff to check their status for the further admission procedure. To be eligible for participating in the counselling process, candidates have to secure the required cut off ranks. It must be noted that UET and PET cutoffs are released as per the dates on which candidates have to attend the counselling in online mode.

BHU conducts BHU UET Counselling within a month of declaring the results for allotting seats to the shortlisted candidates. The counselling of BHU UET is entirely based on the merit list prepared using the entrance exam scores. Much like BHU UET, BHU also conducts BHU PET Counselling in August-September tentatively after the declaration of BHU PET results. Candidates, who are shortlisted as per the rank list of BHU UET or BHU PET, respectively, are issued provisional seat allotment letter after they freeze the allotted seat. The admission is confirmed only after the candidates get their documents verified and pay the admission fee.

BHU Merit List 2021

After the declaration of BHU UET Cut off and BHU PET cutoff, the University releases the official merit list comprising names of shortlisted candidates who are eligible and have successfully registered for counselling on the assigned dates. BHU issues electronic call letters to the candidates with their names in UET/ PET merit list and intimates regarding the same through an SMS/ email. For participating in the counselling process, candidates need to log in to ‘candidate segment’ on the entrance test portal and download the respective call letters. Candidates can find the following details mentioned in the electronic call letter:

• Counselling Date
• Course to which admission is sought
• Admission fee
• Mode of payment of admission fee
• Last date to pay the admission fee
