What's new at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University? Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University admissions for all the programmes is open now. Candidates can fill application forms through the official website of the university. The last date to apply for admission is not yet declared. 

CRSU was formerly known as Kurukshetra University Post Graduate Regional Centre and, was established in 2014 by the Government of Haryana. The University is recognised by the UGC and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. The University has a total of six faculty offering PG programmes.

The University has adopted six schools of Jind District, namely Government Senior Sec. School, Rajpura, Kasturbha Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Safa, Government Senior Sec. School, Bibipur, Govt. Senior Sec. School, Digana, Government Primary School, Dhani Bidwali, and Gopal Vidya Mandir Sen.Sec.School.

The University offers a dynamic curriculum which is prepared based on the research and global industry requirements. Currently, CRSU is offering 26 courses (17 regular and nine with Self Financing Schemes) at UG, PG, and doctoral levels in Commerce, Management, Physical Science, Social Science, and Education. The UG programmes such as BBA, B.Ed, BSc, BA, BCA, BCom (Hons) are offered by the constituent colleges associated with the University.

CRSU ensures that students get the right exposure and learn new skills. To achieve this objective, CRSU has established various cells and committees such as Sports Council, RTI Cell, Yoga Cell, Research Cell, Health Centre, and many more.

CRSU has established DDUC, a cell for students of the University, and the other studying in different institutions. The cell conducts coaching classes on UGC NET exam preparation, Personality Development, and SSB.

CRSU has started the National Service Scheme to inspire voluntary work among the students and teachers through community interactions. The scheme conducts various activities such as Mega Blood Donation Camp, Cleanliness Drives, Polio Vaccination Campaign, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Awareness Campaign, and Tree Plantation Drives.

CRSU admission process can be completed online and begins in July every year. Furthermore, the duration of the PG Diploma in Yoga Science is offered only for a year.

 The eligibility criteria are different for different programmes offered at the University. Aspirants seeking information to CRSU UG and PG programme can refer below:

• Admissions to B.P.ED and M.P.ED is based on the scores obtained in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by the rank in the merit list; merit list is the culmination of scores obtained in PET and the last qualifying exam
• Admissions to PG programmes such as CA, MSc, MA, and MCom is based on students rank in the merit list
• Admission to MBA is based on the scores obtained in MAT 2020, followed by GDPI
• Admission to MTech is based on the rank in the merit list, however, preference is given to candidates with valid GATE 2020 score
• Admission to PhD programme is based on the scores obtained in UGC-NET 2020

CSRU offers BPED, MA, MSc, MBA, MTech, MPED, MCA in multiple specialisations. The University also offers PG Diploma in Yoga Science. Furthermore, CSRU also offers MPhil and PhD programmes at the doctoral level. The duration of PG programmes and BPED programme is two years. However, MCA is offered for three years. CRSU placements process is headed and monitored by the Career and Counselling Cell. Furthermore, the cell works in close collaboration with Guidance and Counselling Cell to assist students in career areas.

The University also offers internships to students pursuing MA in Mass Communication have to complete their internship after the first year of the college.
