Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida (JIIT Noida) was founded in 2001 with an aim to offer quality education in the fields of Engineering, Science, Management, IT, etc. It received the status of deemed-to-be university in 2004 under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956. JIIT Noida is an integral part of Jaypee Group pf Companies that currently provides education across all spectrum of the learning curve through 34 schools, five ITI’s, 1 Polytechnic, Advanced Skill Development Centre, PG college, B.Ed college, respectively and four universities catering to over 35,000 students.

JIIT Noida is NAAC accredited with Grade 'B' and has received gold standard recognition since its inception. It was ranked at 80th position among ‘Top Engineering Institutes’ by NIRF 2019. The deemed University has highly experienced faculty with an average of 12 years of academic experience. It has signed MoUs with eight foreign universities for student/ faculty exchange and collaborative research. JIIT Noida PlacementsThe Training and Placement Cell (T&P cell) functioning at JIIT Noida, centrally handles campus placement of the all the five campuses. The T&P cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placements process. It is also responsible for organising placements workshops, group discussions and interviews for its students.
For BTech:
In 2021, over 136 companies visited JIIT Noida to recruit 95 per cent students from all domains. The highest package offered was Rs 43.88 LPA by Adobe and the average package was Rs 7.57 LPA. Top companies such as Infosys, Adobe, Amazon, Nagarro, Delhivery, etc. visited the campus for placements.
Also, as per the academic programme of JIIT Noida, the students, on completion of their BTech 6th semester have to undergo summer training as an integral part of their curriculum in June and July. The top companies that facilitate summer internships offer to the students every year include Amazon, TCS, HCL, Wipro, Ericsson, Deloitte, Airtel, HP, Yamaha, etc.
For MBA:
Out of the 43 registered students, 40 students grabbed offers and recorded a placement rate of 93 per cent. The top companies which recruited MBA students during 2021 placements include Deloitte USI, EY, Goldman Sachs, Hitachi Consulting, Indiamart, Paytm, etc.

JIIT Noida ScholarshipsJIIT Noida offers full fee waiver scholarships to the candidates seeking BTech admission with an all India JEE Main rank less than 10,000. JIIT Noida also offers William Webster Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship to scholar students who have an annual parental income less than Rs 1.5 lakh with a 100 per cent tuition fee waiver for the first semester based on their performance in Class 10 and Class 12.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG courses Minimum eligibility to apply for B Tech programmes is Class XII pass in science stream or equivalent from a recognised university and minimum eligibility to apply for M Tech programmes is Graduation /B Tech or equivalent from a recognised university. Admission Process Admission to JIIT’s B Tech and 5-year Integrated B Tech + M Tech courses is granted on the basis of JEE rank/score. For Biology based B Tech programmes (Biotechnology, Bioinformatics only) 50% of seats shall be allotted through JEE rank merit and rest of the 50% seats shall be allotted on the basis of merit in Class XII examination for the students having Biology/Biotechnology with Physics in Class XII. Candidates with Biology/Biotechnology, Physics and Maths can apply for both options (i.e JEE based admissions or Bio based admissions) by filling different application forms. Admission to M Tech courses is granted on the basis of written test, PGCET conducted by the university itself. However, those who have valid GATE score can seek direct admission.
