Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, also known as KNRUHS, is a state university that was established in 2014 in Warangal. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and Medical Council of India (MCI). It has more than 160 government and private affiliated colleges. It is the only University with the complete digitalisation of entire University work.

KNRUHS Admission Process

The University offers 10 UG, five PG and two super specialty programmes under 11 different streams. Admission to all these programmes is either entrance or merit-based. Candidates, who meet the given eligibility criteria, need to register for the respective entrance exam for the admission process. The course-wise details regarding KNRUHS admissions are given below:

UG Courses

Admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYC, BUMS and BSc (Nursing) programmes is based on NEET UG cut off

BPT and BSc (MLT) admissions are done on merit-basis

Candidates, who have completed Class 12 in Science stream, can apply for any of the UG courses

PG Courses

Admission to MD and MS is based on NEET PG/ AIAPGET cut off

KNRUHS UG Admission 2021

At the UG level, the University offers nine different programmes in several fields, such as Dental, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Unani, Physiotherapy and more. The duration of these programmes varies from course-to-course. Admission to these courses is either entrance or merit-based. The course-wise details regarding all UG programmes are mentioned below:

KNRUHS Admission 2021: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPT

The University offers MBBS, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) and Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS) with a course duration of five and a half years, including one year of rotating internship. The course duration of Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYC) and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is four and a half years, including one year of rotating internship. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a full-time five-year programme offered at the UG level. Admission to BPT is merit-based, whereas admission to other courses is entrance-based.
