Kurukshetra University admission to most of the UG and PG programmes is merit-based. KUK admission to entrance based programmes is done through the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). KUK admission process for all the courses varies from course to course.

KUK offers 175 courses on the campus in 47 departments/ institutes and through 282 affiliated colleges and institutes in seven districts of Haryana. The university also offers education at the undergraduate and postgraduate level via distance-learning mode through its Directorate of Distance Education, Kurukshetra University. 

Kurukshetra University Admission 2022: Highlights

KUK admission 2021 forms are now available on the official website for courses such as MA, MSc, MCom etc against the vacant seats. The admission process for the courses offered by KUK varies contingent on the discipline. For admissions to entrance-based undergraduate and a few postgraduate courses, candidates should have a valid score in the KUK Entrance Exam. For admissions to BTech, candidates must have a valid score in JEE Mains, and admission to MTech is contingent on the scores obtained in GATE. Admissions to MBA programme is based on CAT score, followed by GD-PI. The counselling for all the entrance-based programmes is done through HSTES.

Kurukshetra University Merit List 2021: Second Admission List

Kurukshetra University cut off and merit lists 2021 has been released for UG and PG programmes. Candidates seeking admission to UG, UG Integrated or PG courses are required to apply through the course-specific entrance exams. After conducting the respective entrance exams or opening the registration portal, the varsity releases multiple merit lists on the official website for the reference of candidates. The candidates, then, are selected for admission to the university. For admissions to a few UG and PG courses, candidates should have a valid score in KUK Entrance Exam. However, this year in 2021, Kurukshetra University did not conduct the entrance exam to shortlist candidates. The admissions are completely based on merit scores of the qualifying examination.

Kurukshetra University Cut off 2021: Round 8 (RELEASED)

Kurukshetra University has released Round 8 cut offs for multiple UG and PG courses under All India and Home State quota. These cut offs are released for various categories, including General, EWS, OBC, PwD, SC, ST, etc. Admission to most of the UG and PG courses offered by KUK CLOSED after the release of the 4th cut off list (General category). However, admission to LLB programme is still open till Round 8 cut off for both All India and Home State Quota. The varsity is expected to release more cut off lists, in case candidates cancel their candidature and seats become vacant for some of the courses.
