Founded in 1999 by the Government of Rajasthan, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) is recognised as the second agricultural university of the state. MPUAT has gained approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and majorly imparts education in the field of Agriculture.

MPUAT Admission Process

Application forms for MPUAT admission 2020 are available in both online and offline modes. Admission to all the courses is both entrance as well as merit-based, as explained below:

  • BTech: In this course, admission is done basis a valid score in JEE Main 2021/ RPET 2020 (Rajasthan Pre- Engineering Test)
  • BSc, BFSc and MFSc:  Admission is subject to a valid score in JET 2021, conducted by RAU, Bikaner or MPUAT, Udaipur followed by a Personal Interview
  • MTech: Students are required to have a qualifying score in GATE 2021 for admission to this course
  • MSc and MBA: Candidates are offered admission to these courses on the basis of their performance in the Pre-PG entrance test conducted by the University, followed by a GDPI round
  • PhD: Admission is granted basis scores obtained in the previous qualifying examination in the relevant discipline; students who have cleared one among UGC NET 2021/ JRF 2021/ SET 2021, qualify for direct admission

Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology (MPUAT) is a state-level university, located in Udaipur. It is the second-largest agricultural university set-up in Rajasthan in 1999, to encourage research-based education majorly in the field of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. MPUAT Application Process 2021

Application form for admission to MPUAT programmes is available online on its official website. Candidates need to apply for any of its courses by first filling the form online and then submitting a hard copy of duly filled application along with required documents to the University’s admission office. However, candidates also have an option of buying application form and prospectus by visiting in-person to the University campus.

  1. Visit the official website of MPUAT (www.mpuat.ac.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Academics’
  2. Further, click on the course link for which you wish to seek admission and then click on ‘Online Admission Portal’
  3. Click on ‘Candidate Registration’ and register yourself by addressing details, including your name, date of birth, gender, address of communication, email ID and mobile number
  4. A verification link will be sent to your registered email ID. Click on the link to verify your account and proceed with further steps
  5. Click on ‘Candidate Login’ to login to your account with a user ID and password sent to your registered email ID
  6. An application form along with step-by-step clickables will open up. Fill each section of the application form carefully. Hit ‘Submit button once done
