The university offers financial support to the meritorious students every year. The Manipur University scholarship is offered as per the following conditions:

• The student must have cleared first and second semester exams without any back paper

• The student must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

• Parent’s income must not exceed Rs 60,000 per annum

• PSU/ Government employee/ Pensioners children are not eligible for this benefit

• Students availing any other financial benefit or scholarship benefit are not entitled for this scheme
