PG Seat Matrix of MNLU

The total seat intake for LLM is 20, out of which only 6 seats are available for general category candidates. The detailed seat- intake is given in the below table:

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of All India Entrance Test (AIET), followed by a preliminary proposal of research. The candidates who have qualified UGC NET, JRF, CSIR, SLET, GATE, MPhil need not appear for the admission test. Such candidates are eligible for preliminary proposal round.

*The relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks will be given to the SC/ ST candidates.

The university offers postgraduate diploma courses in 3 different fields. The duration of a PG Diploma course is of 1 year. The maximum time duration for the completion of the course is 3 years. The admission to PG Diploma programmes will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam.

MNLU Nagpur Round 3, 4 and 5 allotment (provisional) lists 2021 are released for UG and PG Law programmes.

The Maharashtra National Law University, also known as MNLU Nagpur offers various Law courses but is popularly known for its BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes offered in full-time mode. MNLU Nagpur admission 2021 to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM is done on the basis of merit as assessed through a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam that was conducted on July 23 and the results were released on the official website on July 29. CLAT-qualified candidates must complete the following two-step process to appear for CLAT Counselling, which is presented below:

Step 1: Update NLU preferences

Step 2: Make online payment of Rs 50,000

Registered candidates for CLAT 2021 counselling will be called by the respective NLUs through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who are selected in either of the merit lists will have the following three options, including:

• Accept the allotted seat
• Apply for upgrade
• Exit from CLAT admission process
