National Law University, Odisha, popularly known as NLUO, is a state-level National Law University (NLU). At the UG level, the University offers three courses, namely BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and BVoc. The duration of these programmes varies from course-to-course. BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) are five-year integrated programmes offered at the UG level. The entire duration of each integrated programme is divided into ten semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. BA LLB (Hons) includes five art subjects, namely Political Science, Sociology, Economics, English and Mass Communication. Master of Law (LLM) is a one-year programme offered in two different specialisations. Each specialisation has an intake of 25 students. National Law University, Odisha (NLU Odisha) offers five year BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes at the UG level along with two-year LLM at PG level.  For NLU Odisha admission 2021, the college considers merit list released on the basis of Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores. CLAT Consortium (official website of CLAT) released round 1 merit list for admission to both UG and PG courses on August 1 followed by round 2 on August 9. Students shortlisted in the second round can confirm their admission by making payment of the admission fee by August 10. 

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance test that was conducted on July 23. Candidates who have qualified CLAT must complete a two-step process to appear for CLAT Counselling, which is as follows:
