RNB Global University (RGU) is located in Bikaner, Rajasthan and was established by the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha and notified by Rajasthan. It came into existence in 2015 and all the courses are affiliated by University Grants Commission (UGC). In 2018, the University was awarded as the 'Best University in Rural India' by ASSOCHAM. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD and integrated programmes in major fields under the schools of Commerce & Management, Basic & Applied Science, Engineering & Technology, Computer Science, Law, Arts & Social Science and Agriculture. Also, RNB Global University Law programmes are approved by Bar Council of India. 

RNB Global University admission can be done through both online and offline mode. The University accepts applications to a wide variety of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programmes such as BSc, BTech, BA, BBA, MTech, MBA, MSc, MA, PhD, etc. Apart from these courses, the Univesrity also offers integrated programees such as BBA+LLB, BA+LLB, BCA+MCA, MSc+PhD and LLM+PhD.

UG Courses

• BA LLB and BBA LLB admissions are based on the score obtained in CLAT/ LSAT followed by Group Discussion (GD)/ Personal Interview (PI)
• Admission to the remaining UG programmes is based on the score obtained in RNB Global University Aptitude and Proficiency Test (RNBGUAPT), conducted by the University. Final selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in GD/ PI taken by the admission committee

PG Courses

• For admission to MBA programme, students must apply for RNBGUAPT/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT exam
• Candidates must apply for RNBGUAPT, conducted by the University, for admission to rest of the PG programmes

PhD Course

• Candidates seeking admission to PhD programme need to take Pre-PhD entrance exam conducted by the University
• The University also considers the score of UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE for PhD admission
• Admission to PhD programme is conducted twice a year i.e., January and July

RNB Global University offers several courses at undergraduate level. Class 12 candidates, who will be writing their final examination in March/ April and results will be declared in May/ June, can apply to all the UG programmes. For now, admission will granted to such candidates based on their academic record in Class 10 and thereafter, they will have to send in their final results to the University as soon as it is available. The University offers BSC (Hons) and BSc in three and two specialisations, respectively. The course duration of BSc (Hons) Agriculture is four years while for all the remaining courses, it is three years. Admission to both the programmes is based on RNBGUAPT, held at university-level.

BTech is offered in six specialisations and RNB Global University accepts admission based on the score obtained in RNBGUAPT for BTech programme. Its course duration is four years for each specialisation that is offered.

Admission to BBA programme is based on RNBGUAPT. The University offers six specialisations under BSc programme. Final selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in GD/ PI. RNB Global University also offers BA, BCom (Hons) and BCA programmes under the fields of Management, Commerce and Information Technology. The duration of these courses is three years each and admission is based on the marks secured in RNBGUAPT followed by GD/ PI round. At PG level, RNB Global University offers nine programmmes including integrated programmes in the field of Science, Management, Arts, Information Technology, Commerce and Law. The duration of these programmes varies from course to course and admission to all these programmes is based on course-specific eligibility criteria and an online entrance test conducted by the University. Those who have appeared for their final year graduation exams can also apply for admission to postgraduate programmes. All the important information related to admission is elaborated below.

The University offers two-year MBA course in eight specialisations. Selection of eligible candidates to any of the below-mentioned specialisations is based on a candidate's valid score in RNBGUAPT followed by GD/ PI. The University also offers MA, MTech, MCA, MCom and LLM programmes at PG level. Candidates are granted admission based on their performance in RNBGUAPT. The minimum eligibility criteria required to qualify for admission to these programmes is provided below:

RNB Global University offers the research degree programmes leading to the award of degree, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Admission to PhD programme is conducted twice a year i.e., in January and July and is offered full-time and part-time modes. 

• Admission to PhD programme is through a Pre-PhD entrance exam conducted by the University
• The candidates who qualify UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ SLET/ GATE/ MPhil or a teacher fellowship holder are given direct admission to PhD programme. It means that these candidates need not appear for PhD entrance exam and can directly appear for the PI round
• The entrance exam designed for PhD programme comprises Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is common to all the applicants and tests General Knowledge (GK) and Research Aptitude. It has 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and each correct answer will be awarded with two marks. The candidate will have to obtain a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate in Paper-I, failing in which will result in disqualifying the candidate and hence, Paper-II will not be evaluated
• Paper II is be intended to assess the domain of knowledge in the subject of the candidate. It would be of the standard of the master’s degree. It consists of 100 MCQs, with one correct answer of each question. Each correct answer will be awarded two marks and candidates are required to obtain atleast 50 per cent aggregate in Paper-II to be eligible for PI round
• Candidates pursuing full-time PhD course need to attend the classes on all the working days from 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM whereas for the students pursuing part-time programme, classes will only be held on Friday and Saturday between 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM

Selection process: Selection for PhD programme is based on Pre-PhD entrance exam, to be held in June for the course-work commencing from July and December, for the course-work commencing in January, each year.

Apart from all the above-mentioned programmes, RNB Global University also offers integrated programmes under Law, Information Technology and Science. The course duration of LLM+PhD programme is four years whereas for the remaining programmes, it is five years.

• Admissions to BBA+LLB and BA+LLB is strictly based on the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by the University. Students with good score in CLAT/ LSAT will be exempted from RNBGUAPT and will be directly called for GD/ PI
• For BCA+MCA, MSc+PhD and LLM+PhD programmes, admission is done on a valid score in RNBGUAPT, conducted by the University
• Admission to MSc+PhD and LLM+PhD is based on Pre-PhD entrance exam, held at University-level

• Candidates can also get the admission form from the Admission Centre of the University. After filling the application form and attaching all the required documents, candidate will have to submit the form at the admission cell of the University
