What's new at Calicut University? Registrations are open for Calicut University Common Admission Test (CUCAT) up to April 26 for five-year PG integrated/ BPEd, four-year integrated BPEd and LLM with double specialisation. PhD 2021 anytime registration is also open.

Calicut University admission 2022 for majority of its UG and PG courses will be conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). CAP offers the facility for online submission of application to various colleges and programmes under Calicut University. Also known as the University of Calicut, it is a state university that offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral programmes, under 35 different departments divided into nine schools, for different streams, such as Engineering, Science, Law, Commerce and Management, among others. As per a recent Calicut University notification, all the exams scheduled from April 18 onward have been postponed due to the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic in the country. 

In addition to the regular programmes, the University also has a School for Distance Education that offers a variety of UG and PG courses. Calicut University admissions to its distance courses take place between June and September, every year. The University completed its PG admission process 2020 on January 30 (extended) due to the ongoing pandemic in the country.

One of the largest affiliating universities in Kerala with over 220 government, aided and self-financing colleges functioning under it, University of Calicut admission is offered to approximately 66,000 seats every year to various UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes. University of Calicut admission is both merit and entrance based for its UG and PG programmes. Final admission is subject to the Common Admission Process (CAP) followed by the University.

Calicut University application process 2022 is completely online. Candidates can apply for UGCAP or PGCAP for Calicut University UG and Calicut University PG admission along with the course-specific entrance exams conducted by the University. The online registration fee for two UG or PG courses is Rs 370 for General category candidates and is Rs 160 for SC and ST candidates. For every additional course, candidates are required to pay Rs 55. While for MBA, the application/registration fee is Rs 555 for General category students and Rs 187 for SC/ST category candidates.

The first and second allotment results were out on September 6 and September 13, respectively and the last date for fee payment for the second round was September 17.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Calicut University, i.e. ugcap.uoc.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on ‘Third Allotment List’ for UG admission available on the homepage.
