Uttarakhand Ayurved University was established in 2009 at Dehradun, Uttarakhand by the Government of Uttarakhand. It comprises three campuses, namely Faculty of Ayurveda Dehradun (Main Campus), Rishikul Campus (Haridwar), and Gurukul Campus (Haridwar) that offers courses like Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), Doctor of Medicine/Master of Surgery (MD/MS)(AY), and PhD (AY).
