Uttarakhand Technical University is ranked nine in Uttarakhand by EduRank 2021. The 20.68-acre campus has 132 affiliated colleges and eight constituent colleges offering UG, PG, and PhD courses to the students.

Uttarakhand Technical University is the only affiliating university available for technical institutions. The university was established in 2005 by the Government of Uttarakhand. At present, UTU Dehradun has eight constituent and 132 affiliated colleges that offer 15 UG, 7 PG, and PhD programmes to more than 33,000 students in various disciplines namely Hotel Management, Management, Computer Application, Engineering, Pharmacy, etc. The PhD course is only available for scientists, teachers, and industry-experienced candidates such as PhD degree holders and MTech degree holders. Various autonomous and government institutes come under UTU. Uttarakhand Technical University is approved by UGC, AIU, and AICTE. The university is ranked four in Dehradun by EduRank 2021. Uttarakhand Technical University Courses and Fee 2022

The modes of Uttarakhand Technical University admission 2022 are online and offline. UTU Counseling is based on merit and on entrance exam scores. At the UG level, the university provides four-year BHMCT, BPEd, BPharma, Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and BTech courses, five-year BA-LLB, BArch, BBA-LLB, and LLB courses, and three-year BBA, BCA, BHM, BJMC, and BSc courses. At the PG level, the university provides two-year MTech, MBA, MPharma, and MSc courses, and three-year MBA part-time, and MCA courses.

The university also offers three-year PhD and four-year integrated PhD courses to the students. BSc is offered in four specialisations and BTech is offered in 17 specialisations. MPharma is offered in seven specialisations and MTech in 16 specialisations.
