A. Candidates can get the information from the official web site http://www.nielit.in/education.aspx or from NIELIT Centres or any of the accredited institutes. Details of the accredited institutes are available on the website.

Q. Where can a student get the detailed syllabus of the O/A/B & C Level course?

Q. What is the schedule of the examination?

A. NIELIT O/A/B & C Level Theory Examinations are conducted every six months starting from the second Saturday of January and July. Practical Examinations are conducted starting from the second Saturday of February and August.

Q. How many papers can a student apply in a single attempt?

A. There is no specific number as such. However, at each level, you need to complete the papers in the stipulated period.

Q. What is the minimum mark required to qualify the modules of O/A/B & C level Examination?

A. Candidates are required to score a minimum of 50 % marks in each module to qualify them.

Q. Why a candidate is required to register with NIELIT?

A. Registration is a mandatory pre-requisite for appearing in the O/A/B/C level Examinations conducted by the NIELIT.

Q. Can a candidate register for more than one level at a time?

A. No, at any point of time, a candidate can hold a valid registration, for one L l vel only.

Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped and Female Students pursuing NIELIT (Formerly DOEACC Society): O/A/B/C Level Courses w.e.f January, 2003 Examinations The Society has introduced a Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) for SC/ST/Physically handicapped and Female students pursuing NIELIT(DOEACC) O/A/B/C Level Courses w.e.f. January,2003 Examinations. Eligibility • The Protsahan Puraskar Scheme (erstwhile Scholarship Scheme) will be applicable for SC/ST/physically handicapped and Female candidates are pursuing O/A/B/C level Courses of the NIELIT (DOEACC) as a full time courses through an institute authorized to conduct the DOEACC accredited courses. • Candidates shall have to clear the papers in the first attempt and complete the courses in number of attempts given in subsequent paragraphs. • Income of the parents of the student from all sources shall not be more than rs 1 Lac p.a. • Submission of Application for Protsahan Puraskar (erstwhile Scholarship) A candidate has to apply for the Scholarship along with the following:- • Proof of registration/op-gradation • Proof pf passing the examination of relevant level • Proof of pursuing O/A/B/C level as a full time courses • Proof of income	Scholarship
