COCAS, Patna was established in 1949 and is affiliated to Magadh University. COCAS is one of the oldest colleges in Patna and is known for imparting education at UG and PG level. COCAS was formerly known as College of Commerce.

COCAS was accredited with A grade by NAAC in 2016. COCAS, Patna offers 42 courses across 11 streams namely Science, Commerce and Banking, Arts, Management, IT, Vocational, Medical, Paramedical, Agriculture, Media and Mass Communication, and Law.

COCAS offers a wide range of UG and PG courses in various fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Journalism and Library Science.
