Popularly known as MGM COFA, MGM College of Fine Art, was established in 2003. It is a constituent college of MGM University, Aurangabad that offers undergraduate, postgraduate along with diploma programmes in Applied Art, Drawing and Painting, Ceramic and Pottery, Interior Design, Textile Design, Fine Arts, etc. The diploma programmes offered by the college are affiliated to the Director of Art, Mumbai (Govt. of Maharashtra) and degree programmes are affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

The college offers 21 programmes, including undergraduate, postgraduate, foundation and short-term programmes. The selection of the candidates is purely on a merit basis. Candidates need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria before applying to the programme.

At the UG level, the college offers BFA programme under four specialisations. It is offered under the semester pattern. Candidates seeking admission to the BFA programme need not have to undergo any entrance exams. The eligibility criteria along with the duration of the course is mentioned below:

At PG level, the college offers an MFA programme under two specialisations. The duration of the programme is two years. Candidates have the option to choose their curriculum. The eligibility criteria along with the specialisation are mentioned below:

The college offers 14 short-term programmes for different durations. These are skill-oriented programmes. Candidates must have passed Class 12 in any discipline to become eligible for the programmes. The short-term programmes are mentioned below:

The college offers foundation programmes that are designed to prepare students for their application and interviews in their chosen path of study. Candidates must have passed Class 10 with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% in case of reserved categories) along with the Intermediate Drawing Grade Examination of Directorate of Art, Maharashtra.

6. History of Art in India

The college offers Advanced Diploma Programme under one specialisation i.e. Interior Design. It is a full-time programme offered for a duration of two years.

Candidates must have passed Class 12 in any stream to become eligible for the programme. There is no entrance exam for this programme.

MGM College of Fine Art application process is held online through its official website. Candidates can fill and submit the application form by paying a processing fee. Follow the below steps to fill the online application form.

Step 4: Login name and password will be communicated through email/ SMS.

Step 5: Login and fill in all the required details along with the supporting documents, signature and photograph.
