Q: What is the difference between a BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB degree and LLB degree?

A: The only difference between an LLB and a BA LLB/ BCom LLB/ BBA LLB degree is of the duration of courses i.e. BA LLB is of five-years duration and an LLB degree is of three-years duration but candidates already would have completed a bachelor degree of three years which makes it - 3+3 = 6 years.

Q: Can I practice law after completing LLB degree?

A: Candidates completing their LLB degree have to appear for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) by BCI. To clear the bar examination is mandatory for all law graduates to be able to practice law. All state bar councils in India have made it mandatory for advocates graduated after 2010 to clear this examination.
