A. GLAIET Scholarships are offered to various students for various reasons. Following are the scholarships offered by IET: 

• Meritorious Scholarship: A scholarship of worth Rs. 33,000 p.a. for the BTech candidates securing more than 90% and Rs 25,000 p.a. for the candidates securing  80-89% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in Class 12
• MTech Scholarships: The scholarship for GATE qualified candidates worth Rs 1,33,000 p.a. and scholarships for Non- GATE and GLAET qualified candidates is Rs. 1, 05,000 p.a.
• PhD Stipend:  A stipend worth Rs 25,000 p.a. is offered to candidates pursuing PhD
• General & OBC (economically weak): The scholarship is offered to students whose parents income is less than Rs. 2 LPA
• SC/ST Candidates: The scholarship is offered to students whose parents income is less than Rs 2 LPA

A. GLAIET Placements are managed by the Training and Placement Cell, which works tirelessly towards ensuring employment for all students across various industries and helping budding entrepreneurs in establishing successful businesses. The department organises activities and workshops regularly to enable students to become effective team leaders and players.

The cell also assists students in applying for summer training and projects in various companies. The university critically evaluates these summer training and projects as they form a part of the curriculum. The T&P cell in coordination with the various technical departments regularly organise industrial visits to acquire technical activities involved in production design, maintenance of engineering products in case of technical courses.
