Ishan Institute of Law is a private Law institute which was established in 1994 in Greater Noida. The institute is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut. CCSU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is accredited with a “B” grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Currently, the institute offers BA LLB and LLB programmes under the field of Law. Apart from academics, the institute also conducts seminars with fresh litigants, judicial officers, legal officers, academicians, etc. to provide industry exposure to the students. The institute conducts moot courts with other institutes at regular intervals and had also organised a workshop on Lexis India regarding case reports, legal latin maxims and more. The campus of the institute provides all basic facilities such as library, labs, cafeteria, halls, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, auditorium, hostels for boys and girls and many more. Apart from this, the institute also conducts an Ishan Sports Festival for various kinds of indoor and outdoor games such as table tennis, carom, badminton, long jump, relay race and more.

UG Course

• Admission to BA LLB is based on CLAT scores
• Candidates, who have completed Class 12 in any stream, can apply for BA LLB programme

PG Course

• Admission to LLB is done on merit basis
• Candidates must have complete graduation in the relevant stream to apply for LLB programme

At the UG level, the institute offers a five-year integrated BA LLB programme. The programme is divided into 10 semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. At the PG level, the institute offers a LLB programme with a course duration of three years. The degree offered by the institute for both programmes will be awarded by CCSU.
