Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER) is located at Talegaon, Pune and was established in 1995 by MAEER’S MIT, Pune. The institute was originally affiliated to the University of Pune and currently, it is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. It is recognised by Medical Council of India and offers courses at UG and PG level.

MIMER offers MBBS, MD and MS programmes.

MIMER MBBS admission is entrance-based. The course duration of MBBS is four and a half years with one year of compulsory rotating internship. Selection of the candidates is based on the score obtained in NEET UG 2021 and the candidates who clear the cut-off score set by the institute will be called for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria is mentioned nelow:

The institute offers MD and MS programmes in 11 and five specialisations, respectively. The course duration of MD/ MS is three years (two years for those with a two-year recognised diploma in the same specialty). Selection to both the courses is based on a valid score obtained in NEET PG. 

• Counselling will be conducted by the Director General of Health Science (DGHS) and the name of candidates, who clear the cut-off score of NEET PG, will be sent to complete the admission process
• Candidates, who have completed their rotating internship for atleast one year after completing MBBS on or before April 30, are eligible to apply

2. On the home page of the website, Click on ‘Fill Application Form'
3. Follow the instructions mentioned on the next page and click on ‘Proceed to apply online NEET UG 2021’
4. Fill in all the details correctly and submit the fee online through e-wallet, net-banking or debit/ credit card
5. Take a print out of the confirmation page after successful remittance of fee

1. Visit the official website (www.nbe.edu.in) and click on NEET PG
2. On the home page, click on ‘New Registration’ tab
3. Follow the instructions mentioned on the next page and click on ‘Proceed to apply online NEET PG 2021’
4. Upload all the relevant documents and click on ‘Submit’
5. Pay the online application fee through net-banking or debit/ credit card

• NEET PG mark sheet
• Photocopy of Aadhaar card
• MBBS passing certificate
• Cast certificate (if applicable)
