R G Kar Medical College and Hospital, inaugurated in 1916 under the then British rule, is one of the esteemed medical institutions based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The institute is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and is ranked 22 under private medical colleges in the India Today 2019 ranking. NEET UG Counselling 2021 Dates

Candidates, who score above the NEET cut off percentile, become eligible to participate in the admission process. The NEET cut off varies for candidates belonging to reserved and unreserved categories. The standard NEET cut off has been prescribed by the NTA. But, the Medical Council of India can increase/ decrease the cutoff, if the seats are left vacant. NEET PG Counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats of Medical colleges, is conducted in three rounds, including a Mop-up round. The MCC will also conduct a Stray Vacancy Round Counselling after the Mop-up round. Also, this year, the MCC has announced changes in the All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling process for NEET UG. There will be four rounds of counselling this year onwards, AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, Mop-up Round and an AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.
