Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Vivekananda Global University (FET-VGU) is a premier Engineering Institute located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Faculty of Engineering and Technology VGU include two major USPs under its umbrella: Mitsubishi Industrial Robotics Centre VGU and Royal Enfield Training Centre VGU. Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Vivekananda Global University offers Engineering degrees under BTech and BTech (lateral entry) in six specialisations at undergraduate level. Each of these departments plays a unique and distinctive role in the development of the state and the country.

BTech is offered in six specialisations, namely Computer Science,  Robotics, Electronics and Communication, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. The duration of full-time BTech is four years. Under BTech (Computer Science), FET-VGU offers two sub-specialisations, namely Cloud Technology, Information Security & Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. The Institute also offers six-month long compulsory industry internship for all the students to gain industry exposure.

At PG level, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Vivekananda Global University offers full-time MTech in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical and Civil. The duration of MTech is two years. The Institute offers one-year long compulsory industry internship in the top-notch research labs like CEERI and Pilani to PG students.

Selection criteria: Final admission to MTech is based on the scores obtained in RSAT or VGU-SAT.

Faculty of Engineering and Technology VGU offers PhD (Engineering) in the same specialisations as MTech programme, admission to which is governed by Vivekananda Global University. The minimum course duration of PhD is three academic years for full-time scholars and candidates are only offered to study the programme in full-time mode.

Selection criteria: Final admission is based on the scores obtained in VGU-SAT, followed by Personal Interview (PI). UGC NET/ CSIR NET qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test and called directly for PI round.

Other than regular UG and PG programmes, Faculty of Engineering and Technology VGU offers Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) to students in six specialisations. The duration of the programme is three years.

Faculty of Engineering and Technology VGU scholarships are awarded to meritorious and economically weak students. It also adheres to all the scholarship schemes and fee concessions offered by Vivekananda Global University. FET-VGU mainly offers two types of scholarship schemes for the students, including merit-based and alumni-based. These scholarships are only granted to first-year UG students. From the second year onwards, the scholarship will continue only if the candidate maintains the entry-level percentage with zero backs. Both of these scholarships are offered only on the academic fee of a programme and is offered for first year only.
