| For all B.Tech. candidates- 1. Merit Based Scholarship 1. Scholarship will be offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in class X & XII & 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech (All Streams) in CBSE/ ICSE / State Examination Board. Such scholarships will be limited to 10% of seats in each B.Tech Program. Scholarships will be allotted for the first Semester in Merit order to eligible candidates. 2. Scholarships will be awarded based on merit only. 3. Continuation of Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy Scholarship Amount • 50% on Tuition fee of first Semester 2. Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers: 1. Merit order allotment of 1 seat per program. 2. The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand resident students. 3. Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate) 4. Students will be entitled only for 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through Uttarakhand Resident category) 5. Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per merit scholarship policy of the University Scholarship Amount • 25% of tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in first year 3. Special Scholarship B. Tech- only for 1st year candidates Candidate having 95.01% + receive Tuition Fee waive off 100% Candidate having 90.01% - 95% receive Tuition Fee waive off 85% Candidate having 85% - 90% receive Tuition Fee waive off 75% 5 seats are allotted for candidates falling in each category B. Tech- only for 1st year candidates Candidates with Board Merit 95.01% + will receive tuition Fee waive off 100% Candidates with Board Merit90.01% - 95% will receive tuition Fee waive off 85% Candidates with Board Merit85% - 90% will receive tuition Fee waive off 75% 5 seats are allotted for candidates falling in each category | Scholarship |
| For M.tech candidates- 1. GATE SCHOLARSHIP: * Scholarship @ Rs. 12,400/- per month for Students having 70 percentile and above in GATE. *GATE Scholarship Students admitted to M.Tech program in the academic session 2020-21 with valid GATE score 70 percentile and above will be considered for scholarship @ Rs. 12,400/- per month during their period of registration with the University. For M.Tech candidates Minimum 60% 10th, 12th, & Graduation - will receive 50% waiver on 10% seats in each program To become eligible for the continuance scholarship in subsequent semesters, the students are required to have a) earned minimum SGPA / CGPA of 8.0 in each semester b) passed every semester examination in the first attempt besides maintaining regular attendance, discipline, exemplary behavior and compliance with all other norms as prescribed by the University from time to time 2. RESEARCH GRANT: All Students will also be eligible to avail a grant up to a sum of Rs. 50,000/- towards outcome-based research as per rules & regulations framed for the purpose by the University. | Scholarship |
