Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) will be conducting Gujarat NEET 2021 stray vacancy round from April 18 to April 27 in offline mode. Earlier on April 4, the seat allotment list for third round Gujarat NEET 2021 counselling was released. The choice filling for Gujarat NEET 2021 third round counselling had started on March 28. The last date to exercise choice for college and course was April 4. 

The seat allotment list is prepared on the basis of various factors like choices filled by the candidate, his/her rank in the NEET 2021 exam, and availability of seats. Gujarat NEET counselling is conducted for providing admission to 4,657 MBBS and 1,155 BDS seats across the medical institutes in the state.  A total of three rounds of counselling including a mop-up round will be conducted by ACPUGMEC.

April 4, 2022: Seat allotment result for Gujarat NEET 2021 third round counselling released

The counselling of Gujarat NEET is not only conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. ACPUGMEC conducts the admission process for various other courses through Gujarat NEET counselling, they are:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
• Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)

Candidates who meet the parameters given below can apply for the Gujarat NEET 2020 counselling:

• They must be a citizen of India
• They must have qualified NEET 2021
• They must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from

To participate in the admission process for Gujarat MBBS seats, a candidate needs to register on the official website of ACPUGMEC, medadmgujarat.org. However, the registration process can begin only after they purchase a PIN by paying Rs 200 online. After completing the registration process, candidates will have to report to the nearest help centre for document verification. Eligible candidates will have to fill in their choices/preferences online and participate in the seat allotment process. The process of ACPUGMEC Gujarat NEET counselling is elaborated on below.

• Candidates who wish to apply for the counselling of Gujarat NEET 2021 have to register themselves on the official website, medadmgujarat.org
• To complete the registration, they will have to complete the application form and submit a registration fee

• The competent authority will prepare a merit list based on the ranks of the candidates who applied for Gujarat NEET counselling 2021
• This merit list will be uploaded on the official website and will be accessible to all

• Candidates whose name appears in the merit list of Gujarat NEET 2021 counselling have to log in to their registered accounts
• After logging into their accounts, they need to indicate their choices (courses/ colleges) in the desired order of preference
• They can choose as many colleges as he/ she desires
• The choices can be moved up or down in the list and can be added or deleted from the list

First round of counselling

Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) released seat allotment list for Gujarat NEET 2021 counselling round one on February 1. Candidates were allowed to fill choice of college and course for round one counselling from January 27 to January 31. The revised provisional merit list was released on January 31.

Second round of counselling

All those candidates whose name will be there in the merit list will be eligible for round two of Gujarat NEET 2021 counselling. Candidates will have to submit online consent using login credentials to participate in the second round of counselling. They will also get an option to modify their preferences of course and colleges for Gujarat NEET counselling 2021 round two. A seat allotment list will be released on the basis of choices filled, availability of seats, rank, and other factors. Selected candidates will have to report to the allotted institute for securing Gujarat MBBS/BDS admission seat.
