CLAT 2022 dates - CLAT application correction window has been reopened for candidates to update their reseveration categories for TNNLU Tiruchirapalli, as well as, for OBC category NCL or CL status. Candidates can edit their CLAT 2022 application form regarding the same, till May 30. The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT 2022 exam on  June 19 (rescheduled from May 8). The last date to fill the application form for CLAT 2022 was till May 9, 2022. CLAT application correction window 2022 for candidates to update their test centre pereferences was available till 11:59 pm on May 11.

CLAT Notification 2022

The Consortium of NLUs has notified that there will be two CLAT exams in 2022 - CLAT 2022 and CLAT 2023. 

  • The CLAT 2022 exam will be held on June 19.
  • The CLAT 2023 examination will be conducted on December 18, 2022 (subject to change).
CLAT 2022 Application Form

The CLAT application form 2022 was released on January 1, 2021. The application is common for 5-year integrated and 1-year LLM programs. Applicants can select the program of study during the application filling process. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the 5-year law program is a 10+2 pass with a minimum of 45% marks. For LLM program, the minimum requirement is a 3-year or 5-year LLB pass with a minimum of 50% marks. Relaxation in minimum marks is applicable to SC/ST candidates.

CLAT 2022 Admit Card 

The CLAT Consortium will issue the admit card for the law exam on the official website. All candidates successfully registered for the exam can download the CLAT admit card 2022 by using details such as mobile number and password. The CLAT admit card will contain details such as candidate's name, date of birth, roll number, exam date, time and centre location. The CLAT 2022 admit card will be a mandatory document for candidates to carry to the allotted exam centre. 

CLAT 2022 Exam Date

The CLAT 2022 exam has been rescheduled. The exam will now be held on June 19 in 82 cities; the mode of exam will be offline. Candidates have to appear for the CLAT exam with their admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

The CLAT question paper for UG courses will contain total 150 passage-based objective-type questions from five subjects - English Language, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Current Affairs including General Knowledge and Quantitative Techniques. The CLAT LLM question paper will contain both objective- and subjective-type questions. However, last year, the CLAT Consortium removed the descriptive section from the LLM paper. CLAT 2022 Answer Key

The Consortium will release the preliminary CLAT answer key 2022 soon after the conduct of the exam. In 2021, the Consortium released the answer key on the same day as the exam. Through CLAT answer key, candidates will be able to cross-check their responses marked against each question in the examination. Candidates who have any objection against the given answer of any question, can challenge the provisional answer key in online mode on the official website in the prescribed format. 

The final answer key for CLAT will be released once the window for raising objections is closed. The answer key will be released in online mode on the official website of the exam. 

CLAT 2022 Result 

The Consortium will declare the CLAT result 2022 as per the prescribed schedule. The result will be announced in online mode on the official website of the law entrance exam. The result will be released in the form of scorecard. Candidates can download their CLAT scorecard by logging in using their application number and password/date of birth. The CLAT result and scorecard contain important details about the candidates such as their name, roll number, application number, category, total score obtained, section-wise score obtained, exam qualifying status, All India Rank (AIR) and category rank. 

CLAT 2022 Counselling

Counselling is the final stage of CLAT admission process. All candidates qualifying the law entrance exam have to appear in CLAT counselling 2022 and seat allotment process in online mode. Through CLAT counselling, candidates are allotted seats in respective courses and NLUs based on merit. The CLAT counselling process includes the following steps:

  • Seat allotment and acceptance
  • Completion of admission formalities

Q: What is the CLAT exam date 2022?

A: The CLAT 2022 exam will be held on June 19 instead of May 9 as per the latest notification released by the CLAT Consortium.
