Registration for IISER 2022 exam has started on May 25. Candidates will have to register online to submit application form for IISPER. According to the schedule, the last date to submit application form for IISER 2022 is June 15. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying online for the entrance exam. Earlier the application process was scheduled to start on May 4, but it was postponed further owing to technical glitches. IISER 2022 application process starts with registration followed by online application fee, filling details in application form, and submitting application form. The exam is scheduled to be held on July 3 from 2 pm to 5 pm in computer-based mode .
What is IISER Aptitude Test?Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) conduct an entrance exam in order to provide admission to candidates in the five-year-long BS-MS dual degree programme offered by them. On the basis of a candidate’s score in the IISER entrance exam (also known as IISER aptitude test), he/she can secure admission at IISER located in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, or Tirupati. Candidates who cleared their Class 12 in the Science stream are eligible to apply for the IISER entrance exam 2022. As per the IISER entrance exam pattern, there are a total of 60 objective questions that candidates need to complete in three hours duration.

IISER Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility CriteriaAll candidates who are Indian nationals and belong to the Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) category are eligible for IISER admissions 2022. However, admissions at IISER are done through three different channels mentioned below.
It is mandatory for candidates to meet IISER eligibility criteria under any one of the channels for admissions 2022.
IISER Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria under State and Central Boards (SCB) Channel
All candidates who have cleared Class 12 exams in Science stream in 2018/ 2021 fulfil IISER entrance exam 2021 eligibility criteria. However, candidates should also score marks (in their respective boards) equal to or above the cutoff percentage as stipulated by IISER (mentioned in the table below) in order to meet IISER entrance exam eligibility criteria.

Note: For candidates belonging to OBC (non-creamy layer) and PwD categories there is a five per cent relaxation in the cutoff percentage. Also, the cutoff percentage for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Kashmiri Migrants (KM) category is 55 per cent in Class 12 for all boards.

IISER Admissions under Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Channel
Candidates who have a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2022-23 academic session are eligible to apply for IISER admissions 2022. However, such candidates do not need to appear for IISER entrance exam 2022.
IISER Admissions under Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT–JEE) Channel
General category candidates who have secured a rank within 10,000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2022 are eligible for IISER admissions 2022. However, similar to the admission process under KVPY channel, such candidates do not need to appear for IISER entrance exam 2021.
Note: For candidates belonging to OBCNC/ SC/ ST/ PwD category their category rank would be used.

Step 1: Fill IISER Entrance Exam Application Form
For IISER entrance exam registrations, candidates need to fill the application form in the online mode on the college’s admission portal. Once the form is filled, candidates need to pay the IISER entrance exam 2022 application fee in the online mode.

Step 2: Download IISER Entrance Exam Admit Card
Once the form is successfully submitted and the fee is paid, candidates could download their IISER entrance exam 2022 admit card from the admission portal.
IISER Aptitude Test 2022 admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre.
IISER entrance exam centre: IISER Aptitude Test 2022 centre details are not out yet. However, the official website informs, "It is conducted in various cities across India. Choices for the city where the candidate wishes to write the aptitude test have to be indicated while completing the online application form. A single city may have multiple centres for the aptitude test. The hall ticket will have the centre details printed."

Step 3: Appear for IISER Entrance Exam
Next, candidates need to appear for the Science entrance exam at the allotted test centre. IISER aptitude test is a three-hour duration exam containing objective-type multiple-choice questions of 180 marks.

Step 4: Check IISER Entrance Exam Result
Candidates can check their IISER Aptitude Test 2022 results on the college’s admission portal. The result for the IISER entrance exam contained the roll/ application numbers of candidates who have qualified for the written exam and the IISER campus allotted to them.
