RCLAT - Raffles Common Law Admission Test

RCLAT 2022: RCLAT 2022 details is yet to be announced. Raffles Common Law Admission Test (RCLAT) is held in May month usually. 

RCLAT is conducted by Raffles University, Neemrana in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes. On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in Raffles Common Law Admission Test (RCLAT), candidates are offered admission to fill the below-mentioned seats at School of Law, Raffles University:

Candidates are informed that they can secure admission in law programmes offered at Raffles University on the basis of their performance in entrance exams such as CLAT/LSAT/RCLAT.

RCLAT exam is of 1:30 hours duration and is usually conducted in the month of May. RCLAT 2022 exam dates have not been declared yet on the official website of Raffles University. View RCLAT exam dates here.

Candidates meet RCLAT 2018 eligibility criteria is they have completed their Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or equivalent Examination with minimum 50% marks. Apart from this, candidates who are set to appear for their Class 12 exams in March/ April 2018 are also eligible to apply for Raffles Common Law Admission Test.

The marks eligibility criteria for RCLAT as mentioned by Raffles University is as mentioned below:

Age Limit: Candidates from General category meet RCLAT eligibility criteria if they are below 20 years of age as on July 1 of the year in which they are appearing for admission. SC/ST category candidates meet the age limit if they are below 22 years of age.

RCLAT 2022 Reservation of Seats

The reservation of seats for Raffles Common Law Admission Test is as follows:

Foreign nationals are exempted from taking RCLAT. Foreign nationals meet the eligibility criteria for admissions if they possess 55% in the qualifying examination.

Step 1: Fill RCLAT Application Form

Candidates can fill RCLAT 2022 application form both online as well as offline. The application fee can be paid by cash, IMPS, NEFT or DD/ Cheque.

Step 2: Get RCLAT Admit Card

Candidates who have duly filled and submitted their application form for Raffles University law entrance exam will be sent their RCLAT admit card through email on their registered email address.

Step 3: Give RCLAT Exam

Candidates need to appear for RCLAT exam as per the schedule mentioned on their admit card. RCLAT exam is of 90 minutes duration.

Step 4: Check RCLAT Result

The result for RCLAT 2022 will be declared on the official website of Raffles University. Candidates can check their result by filling their roll number on RCLAT’s official website.

Step 5: RCLAT Counselling/Admission

Candidates who will be shortlisted for admission basis their performance in RCLAT need to physically be present for the counselling and admission round, failing which, the candidate forfeits the right of admission. Further, candidates need to note that all payments made in favour of Raffles University and all payment by DD are to be made in favour of Raffles University such that it is payable at New Delhi or Jaipur. Payments can also be made by direct remittance to the account of Raffles University.
