Amity University Punjab, popularly known as Amity University Mohali is a private UGC-recognised and NAAC “A+” Grade accredited university. It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the International Association of Universities (IAU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). In 2020, it was ranked 1 as Not-for-profit Private University in India Today University Rankings.

In addition to this, it was listed as one of the Top Universities with Innovation achievement in India by Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) and comes under the list of United Nations list of Global Universities. It has also received a certification from British Standards Institutions (BSI). The University faculty has filed a total of 1,300 patents along with 15,000 research publications and 2,500 PhD and post-doctoral written. It has established over 20 research centres under multiple streams, namely Science, Law, Engineering and Management, among others.

At present, it offers over 20 UG and PG programmes across its 26 constituent institutes. However, it is popularly known for its programmes in Science, Engineering and Arts. It follows a unique mentor-mentee concept under all the programmes to ensure the interaction between the faculty and students. Under this mentoring system, a faculty member is assigned to a group of five to six students to counsel them on their academic and personal queries. It also provides international opportunities through its collaboration with universities like the University of Oxford, Stanford University, Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania to name a few.

Talking about placements, the University placed a total of 8,000 students during 2020 placements and few of its alumni are getting the highest salary package of Rs 2 crore LPA. When it comes to financial assistance, the University offers numerous merit-based scholarships and has tied up with several banks to provide education loan facilities to economically weak students.

Scholarship for UG Students:

Scholarship for PG Students:

Sports Scholarship: The national and international level players are awarded with a scholarship of 50% and 100%, respectively on fast-track admission. In addition to this, a scholarship of 25% is also awarded to the students who have participated at the national level.
