Assam Agricultural University (AAU) is an agricultural education state university established in 1969 in Jorhat, Assam. The University is the first institution of its kind in the whole of North-Eastern Region of India. It imparts resource conserving, quality and market driven education in agriculture and allied fields to facilitate agricultural growth for food security. Scholarships

State Merit Scholarships are awarded by the Assam Agricultural University to the eligible students. Scholarships are awarded on merit basis and are subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria as notified. Below table elaborates on the programme, amount and eligibility for scholarships:
