Birla Institute of Technology Mesra invites applications for admission to BTech, B.Arch and Integrated MSc programmes at Mesra Campus, against a few vacant seats in Home State / All India pool for the academic session 2021-22. The last date to apply is January 4, 2022. It has also released the merit list of selected students for BPharm admission. Applicants who have been allotted seats will have to pay the admission fee through online payment by December 23. 

BIT Mesra admission 2021 is primarily merit-based and entrance-based. Birla Institute of Technology Mesra offers BTech, BArch, BPharma, BHMCT, MTech, MPharm, MBA, MCA, MSc program (Integrated, MSc Animation Design), and PhD. Students are selected based on various national-level entrance tests, like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, NEET-UG, CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT, etc.

BIT Mesra Admission 2021: Highlights 

Birla Institute of Technology Mesra offers BTech, BArch, BPharma, BHMCT, MTech, MPharm, MBA, MCA, MSc program (Integrated, MSc Animation Design), and PhD. Candidates who plan to get admission to any of these courses must appear for the respective entrance exams and qualify for the BIT Mesra cutoff. BIT Mesra has also released the provisional merit list for PhD Spring session 2022. The last date for taking admission has been extended up to January 4 2022. The date and selection criteria for the same is yet to be announced by the institute.

What's new regarding BIT Mesra cut off 2021? CSAB has released the 2nd Special Round cut off 2021 in form of All India CRL Ranks on December 8. These ranks are based on the two types of candidates, including candidates, who reported online at the preferred institute (secured admission) in JoSAA Round 6 and upgraded the institute/ programme/ category/ quota/ gender pool in CSAB Special Round or the candidates, who got fresh allotment in CSAB Special Round.

BIT Mesra cut off 2021 is the minimum rank required by the candidates in JEE Main to be eligible for BTech, BArch and Integrated MSc admission to the institute. JEE Main-qualified candidates who have registered themselves for JoSAA Counselling 2021 or CSAB Counselling 2021 have been allotted seats based on their preference of course and college. Candidates must note that the decreasing trend implies an increased level of competition. On the contrary, an increasing trend implies lesser competitive ranks.

With the release of 2021 R6 cutoff data for BTech programme, most of the specialisations, including Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Production and Industrial Engineering offered by the institute have exhibited a declining trend. As per the BIT Mesra BTech closing round cut off data of the past three years, only two BTech specialisations, namely Information Technology and Computer Science & Engineering have exhibited a fluctuating trend.
