What's New at CUPB? CUET UG registrations re-opened on May 27 and will remain open till May 31. The registrations for postgraduate admissions at the university started on May 19 via CUET PG and the last date to register is June 18. The exam is expected to be held in the first week of July. 

The Central University of Punjab (CUPB) was established in 2009 under an Act of Parliament. It is a NAAC 'A' grade university and is among the top 100 institutions in the 'University Category' of NIRF Ranking 2019. The university offers postgraduate and research-level programmes and has 31 departments spread over 12 schools.

CUPB admission to all the programmes is solely done on the basis of merit obtained in Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), followed by counselling. The application process is only online and no candidature is considered without a valid score in the entrance examination. Candidates need to register and check the CUET website for regular updates. At the time of admission, all candidates need to submit a medical fitness certificate to certify that they are fit to pursue higher studies.
