What's new at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU)? ELFU admission 2022 will be subject to a valid score in CUET conducted by NTA. CUET registrations for admission 2022 were open till May 22. But NTA re-opened CUET UG registrations from May 27 till May 31. English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) was established in 1958 at Hyderabad to impart instructional and research facilities in the teaching of English, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Persian in India. It was awarded the status of a Deemed University in 1973. EFLU offers UG, PG, and Diploma programmes in various languages. With seven schools and 26 departments, it is the only one of its kind in South Asia to facilitate India's relations with foreign countries.

The University was known as the Central Institute of English (CIE) earlier, however, the name was later changed to English and Foreign Languages University in 2006-2007. EFLU students are recruited by top international companies and foreign embassies as language translators. Some of them even work as professors in universities and colleges.
