Hidayatullah National Law University admission to UG, PG, and doctoral programmes is open now. Applications to all the UG, PG and integrated courses are already closed at the university. The sixth list of candidates selected for provisional admission to BA LLB (Hons) against vacant seats under the Chhattisgarh Domicile Unreserved category was released on October 2. The university released the third list of candidates selected for provisional admission to the LLM against vacant seats under the All India Unreserved category on September 28. 

Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) offers three programmes in Law, including an integrated degree, a postgraduate, and a doctoral programme. The mode of application at HNLU is online. Admission to these courses at the university is entrance exam-based, i.e, CLAT.

• September 29, 2021: Fifth provisional merit list for BA LLB (Hons) released.
• September 28, 2021: Third provisional merit list to the LLM programme against vacant seats released.

HNLU Raipur Admission 2021: Highlights

The basic eligibility for all the courses at Hidayatullah National Law University is academic merit; however, the selection of candidates is done basis the scores obtained by them in CLAT. PhD admission is granted basis the scores in various other national-level/ government entrance exams. The Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU Raipur) offers three courses but is popularly known for its BA LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes offered in full-time mode. The institute has a sanctioned intake of 340 students for BA LLB (Hons) and 60 students for the LLM programme. HNLU Raipur admission 2021 to BA LLB (Hons) and LLM is done on the basis of merit as assessed through a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam that was conducted on July 23 and the results were released on the official website on July 29. CLAT-qualified candidates must complete the following two-step process to appear for CLAT Counselling, which is presented below:

Step 1: Update NLU preferences

Step 2: Make online payment of Rs 50,000

Registered candidates for CLAT 2021 counselling will be called by the respective NLUs through five provisional merit lists, each released by the Consortium of CLAT. Candidates, who are selected in either of the merit lists will have the following three options, including:

• Accept the allotted seat
• Apply for upgrade
• Exit from CLAT admission process

Note: Candidates, who did not get allotment in the prior list, will have to wait for the next list.
