King George’s Medical University (KGMU) is a UGC approved and NAAC ‘A’ grade college. KGMU offers over 17 courses at various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and Doctoral level, in the field of medicine, health sciences and nursing. KGMU Admission 2022: Highlights

Candidates who wish to pursue MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing must clear 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board with 45% minimum aggregate. MBBS and BDS admissions are done only through NEET-UG. For admission in BSc Radiotherapy Technology, candidates must have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with 50% marks (40% for reserved categories) from a recognized board. For admission in MD/MS/MDS, candidates must have an MBBS degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducting body of NEET UG has announced NEET UG 2022 exam date on April 6, 2022. NEET UG 2022 will be held on July 17, 2022.Earlier, for the 2021 session, the MCC released the final result for NEET PG Stray Vacancy Round on May 2, 2022 and for NEET UG Special Stray Vacancy Round on April 22, 2022.  This year, the MCC announced changes in the All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling process. For NEET UG, the MCC conducted five rounds of counselling this year onwards, AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, Mop-up Round, an AIQ Stray Vacancy Round, and a Special Stray Vacancy Round. The option to upgrade and free exit was allowed only in Round 1. After accepting the allotted seats, candidates were not allowed to resign. 

Admission to KGMU MBBS is also based on UP NEET Counselling (State-level). The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Lucknow has released UP NEET 2021 Merit lists for all three rounds of counselling. For more details regarding KGMU cut off 2021 stay tuned to this page.

KGMU Cut off 2021: NEET UG Counselling Dates

Candidates, who score above the NEET cut off percentile, become eligible to participate in the admission process. The NEET cut off varies for candidates belonging to reserved and unreserved categories. The standard NEET cut off has been prescribed by the NTA. But, the Medical Council of India can increase/ decrease the cutoff, if the seats are left vacant. Under the MBBS programme, 85% of the seats are reserved for State Quota and the remaining 15% of the seats are reserved for All India Quota (AIQ). NEET PG Qualifying Cut off 2021

NEET PG 2021 cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate has to secure to clear the exam. The cutoff for NEET PG is the basis for shortlisting candidates for MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses in India. NEET PG 2021 cut off score for the Unreserved (UR) category was 302.
