What's new at Established in 2006, Mangalayatan University is located 20 kms from the Yamuna Expressway in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The University is accredited by the UGC and AICTE.

Mangalayatan University admission to a few UG, PG and doctoral programmes is granted through a candidate's score in the previous qualifying exams/ degree, whereas to the remaining programmes, it is based on the entrance exam conducted by the University or central/ state government bodies. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of the University. Mangalayatan University Scholarships

Mangalayatan University offers various scholarship schemes to recognise the merit of scholar students and to assist economically weaker students. The details regarding these scholarships are listed below:

• Course Fee Waiver to Meritorious Students:
•      For boys: This scholarship waives-off 100 per cent course fee of the students who have score over 90.01% in the qualifying exams. Students who have scored between 85.01 to 90 per cent aggregate, are awarded 50 per cent course fee waiver and this scholarship waives-off 20 per cent of the course fee to the students who score between 80.01 to 85 per cent aggregate.
•      For girls: 100% course fee waiver is awarded to the students who have obtained 85.01% aggregate or above in the qualifying exams. Aspirants who have scored 80.01 per cent to 85 per cent aggregate get a waive-off of 50 per cent and for those with 75.01 to 80 per cent aggregate, the University waives-off 20 per cent of the total course fee.
• Fee Concession to University Employees and Their Wards: Mangalayatan University takes care of their employees by offering a 50 per cent concession in the course fee to self/ spouse/ son/ daughter of University employees. Also, it waives-off 15 per cent of the course fee to the blood relations of University employees, including brother, sister, etc.  
• Course Fee Waiver for the Wards of Freedom Fighters and Defence Personnel: Under this Scholarship, student is offered with 25 per cent concession in the total course fee who is the son/ daughter or grandson/ granddaughter of freedom fighters and son/daughter of armed forces/ para-military forces/ police force personnel. This fee concession continues throughout the course.
• Concession for Children from Minority Communities: This scheme allows 20% course fee waiver to the children from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Parsi and Buddhist communities. (This fee concession continues throughout the course).
• Fee Concession to Differently Abled Children: Aspirants, who are differently-abled with 40 per cent or higher impairment, get 20 per cent fee waiver on the total course fee throughout the course.

Mangalayatan University Infrastructure and Facilities

The infrastructural facilities offered by the University are elaborated below:

Computer Facility: To carry out the project research work, each institute has its own computer lab. Additionally, the University has a central computer centre that comprises 150 computers. To enhance the educational experience, the hostels of Mangalayatan University are Wi-Fi enabled with a speed up to one Gbps.

Cafeteria & Canteen: Mangalayatan University has a central cafeteria which provides enough and delicious food at affordable rates. It has both indoor and outdoor seating space.

Sports and Recreation: The University encourages sports facilities by conducting several games, including cricket matches, basketball games and soccer rumble among others. There is a dedicated gym available in both girls’ and boys’ hostel.

Hostel and Transportation: Mangalayatan University provides single, double and triple-sharing rooms and houses over 600 students. The hostel room is allotted as per the choice and availability. It is equipped with all the necessary facilities, such as gym, cafeteria, Wi-Fi, etc. For the convenience of the day-scholars, faculty and staff members, the University has a fleet of 25 buses which cover several routes in Aligarh, Agra, Mathura, Hathras and Sasni. For campus residents, the bus facility is available on a weekly basis to the nearby cities of Mathura and Aligarh.

Central Library: The University has a central library which is spacious and allows students to access it until the late hours. It has a collection of more than 40,000 books and has subscribed to 300 periodicals & journals. The library also has a dedicated computer lab facility, where students and faculty access several online e-journals and e-books.
